Philippine Airlines has moved its plans to restart its Cebu-Osaka route to before year's end, and will suspend its flights to Macau.


According to aeroroutes, the Philippine flag carrier revised its planned launch of its services between Cebu and Osaka-Kansai from October 27 to December 22. Previously, Philippine Airlines scheduled daily flights starting October 27. Instead, the airline will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) on the route with Airbus A321 aircraft.


Philippine Airlines will increase its flights on the route to four weekly from February 26, 2025.


By March 2025, Philippine Airlines will offer a total of 18 weekly flights between the Philippine and Osaka. The airline currently operates flights from Manila to Kansai Airport.


Suspension of Manila-Macau Route


In an update to its international summer timetable (August 13), Philippine Airlines is suspending its Manila-Macau route on August 29.



Philippine Airlines currently operates three weekly flights on the route (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) with Airbus A321 aircraft.
